I love reading design blogs and seeing all the incredible talent that is out there. I am in awe really. The unique ideas that people come up with are absolutely amazing. It has given me a new excitement for what I do and it has pushed me to be more bold when I am designing for a client and also in my own home. And I have found some wonderful artists and many new resources that I might not have otherwise found.
One of those artists is Laura Trevey. I actually found her Etsy shop randomly last year and fell in love with her watercolor dresses. I would put one in my 'cart' and then change my mind over and over again. And then last week Sarah from Flourish Design and Style, mentioned something about a "where we blog" series on another blog so I clicked on the link and it was Laura Trevey's blog, BRIGHT, BOLD & beautiful. Her blog is just like her artwork ... bright, bold and beautiful!

It arrived yesterday and I didn't waste any time hanging it in my office.
Isn't it gorgeous?!?
Here is my office before ... see that blank wall to the right?
Here it is today:
I love it! It is so pretty and colorful, and fun to have the new color of the year featured! Oh, and speaking of featured ... you can see my office featured on Laura's blog here!
Another site that I found through reading blogs is Mason Moonbeam. Jen makes the best pillow covers for a very reasonable price! The pillow covers I bought were 2 for $20! Check out her Etsy shop here. The beautifully sewn pillows arrived very quickly, were wrapped nicely and even had a personal note included. How can you beat that?
The new additions look great! Bloggers are so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThe painting is perfect in your office, and I am headed to that etsy shop now!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks divine, Sherri!

Thank you so much for letting us know.
Have a Great Day, sweetie.

ReplyDeleteSherri, I can't believe I figured out. Basically you have to log into your google account ( if you are doing it through google) before it will allow you to post the comment. That is why you can't do it directly from your email. Hopefully this will help anyone else who is trying to send you a comment and can't.
