Beautiful window treatments

I finally got to see the photos of a project I worked on in January. I had gone up to work with an out of town client. While I was there I re-did their master closet, accessorized and styled their house, selected new paint colors and fabrics, dining room chairs, a chandelier and specified new drapes and roman shades. I posted about that trip here and here and here!

The hard part about working out of town is not being able to see the finished results. And although it is not the same as being there in person I was thrilled to get the photos from my client last week.

My favorite part of everything we did that week was the drapery panels in the dining room and the roman shades in the guest room. I am thrilled with the way they turned out! This is the fabric we used:

The guest room romans (see my previous post about this guest room here):

I posted the photos of the master closet but when I left there were still a few things that were unfinished (a chest that needed to be built and an ottoman that I had 'borrowed' for the living room needed to be put back. And of course, my client needed to move a few things around and make the closet "hers". You can see the dramatic before photos here.

Thank you Carol for sharing the photos with me!

  4. love what you chose. I think your client needs to move one of those blue ginger jar lamps to the dining table to bring a touch of blue to that all neutral space, dont you?

  5. Hi Diane, I'm smiling at your comment because it definitely needs color. The empty wall is waiting for a large art piece and we are scheduling a shopping day do style the table. A nice large centerpiece is much needed.

  8. They are beautiful window treatments. Well done! I found your blog googling the Khandar Indigo fabric. I am getting ready to make pillows with it and wanted some inspiration.
